Co-op operations
Two to four players fight together against the AI using the ordinary game rules.

The development build has the rules underneath: the operation's declared advantages, its schedule of waves or sallies, the scripted parley, team gifts and the operation's result. It has no operation to choose, no briefing screen and no wave armies yet. Operations seat up to three players for now.
Same game, together#
Operations use the same culture groups, units, formations, technologies, economy, terrain and combat as every other match. Two to four players form a team, and bots can fill empty allied seats. Teammates can send each other resources. Any advantages the AI side starts with are listed in the briefing.
Defense#
Defend a settlement against waves of AI armies. Between waves you have a visible preparation time to repair, rebuild, gather, expand, build roads, create choke points and reinforce walls. Later waves bring siege engines, cavalry, ranged formations and attacks on several fronts. Survive every wave for your chosen difficulty to win.
Siege#
The AI holds a fortified position: outer settlements, a supply network, outer defenses, walls and an inner fortress around its objective. Assault it directly, starve it by raiding and cutting its supply roads, find another river crossing, destroy its bridges or build your own roads. Destroy the objective to win.
Parley#
At moments announced in the briefing, you can parley with the enemy: pay resources to delay the next wave or pause a sally for a set time. Each parley costs more than the last.
Operations can be saved, replayed and resumed after a disconnect like any other match.
